How did you come to performing audiobooks?

“I was recording a role for the BBC radio production of Torchwood with the cast of the TV show, and an audiobook producer who was working in the next studio asked me if I had ever recorded an audiobook. I said ‘of course!’ which was a complete fabrication, and auditioned and got my first job — Elin Hilderbrand’s Summerland, in 2012. I’ve been recording ever since.”

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

“One of my points of pride is the versatility I enjoy in the business, narrating for virtually every genre in audiobooks. Audible has called me ‘a pied piper narrator. If she narrates, I listen!’ I haven’t yet begun to tire of being a human being telling stories — and taking big swings with characters. I love sharing the journey with fellow narrators and industry professionals as the APA’s VP of Voice Talent Communications.”
