What do you always have in the booth?

A clicker to denote my mistakes and a massive bottle of water I try to finish before the end of the day.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I booked a gig working part-time at an startup audiobook company, working through their romantasy backlog while also learning on the job how to be a narrator. I had always wanted to work in voiceover and was also working as a theatre actor at the time.

COVID happened, theatre died, my wife was furloughed, and all I had was the part-time gig. I turned it into a full-time career.

If you listen to my work, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Know that I treat every book I am fortunate enough to perform with the respect it demands. In this day and age, where artificial muck runs amok, I count my blessings that I am able to share someone’s artistic expression for a living. Human art always.
