How did you come to performing audiobooks?

As an actor, I’ve always specialized in voice and speech, especially dialects, so audiobooks were a natural fit for me. In 2012, during my final year in the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Acting Program, I began narrating books at AudioGO in Rhode Island. When I moved back to New York in 2013, I started working for other publishers, and by 2018, what started as a side gig had become my full-time job.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

Audiobook narrators have the unique opportunity to create entire worlds using only our voices. I love bringing literature to life in this way. It’s a terrific job and I feel fortunate that I get to do it!
