How did you come to performing audiobooks?

Figured out they existed in 2009 in a Woodland Hills Barnes & Noble, when I saw these square plastic things on bookshelves. Audiobook CDs!!! Michael Beck narrated a John Grisham novel. Figured maybe I can do that to help get union health insurance. Started studying how to be a narrator in 2012 with Hillary Huber and Scott Brick. Became full-time in 2016. You gotta learn how to quietly tell a story, and make sure you STAY!!!

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

I’m @BostonVoiceGuy for a reason. (FYI It’s a curse!!!) When a book is based in Boston or New England, I always pray I’m on their radar to narrate it. It allows the audio story to retain the necessary regional nuance it deserves! And in general, thank you so much for listening to HUMANS narrate stories written by HUMANS. It means a lot.
