What do you always have in the booth?

A minimum of 3 beverages (water, tea, something with protein & electrolytes and something caffeinated if I can still get away with it). My dear old Sundance Film Festival buddy Murphy the Sundance (stuffed) Moose. And as many books as I can fit in there.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

After finishing music school (BFA in Jazz Performance at The New School), and my conservatory acting training (Michael Howard Studios), on my quest to become a working actor… really any kind of working actor… I became a working VO actor (bless my first agent.) And at exactly the right moment, the hustle of non-audiobooks gave way to my lifelong obsession with books (romance in particular), and my need to feel like the stories I was telling could give as much back to me as I was giving to them. I’ve always believed that books save lives, and when I look at my career today, and what is possible ahead, that is affirmed all over again.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

“I like good strong words that mean something.” – Jo March
