What do you always have in the booth?

My two Japanese Chin dogs – Shiro and Itsu, my IPAD, Wonder Woman dolls, Words of Inspiration and motivation and warm up phrases

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

An encore career after I retired from corporate world as an IT Project manager/Manager running million dollar projects. I listened to audiobooks as a way to escape stress while I go on long walks with my dogs. I love listening to audiobooks so much that I started this journey in early 2021 with coaching from Sean Pratt.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

Born in Malaysia and of Chinese descent, I render a resonant, evocative, and versatile voice to every narration. Proud of my Asian Pacific roots and now based in sunny Sacramento, California, I bring warmth, authenticity, and cultural nuance to listeners around the world. 

Drawing on decades as an IT project manager, I bring clarity and authenticity to technical and business nonfiction, especially stories and insights that  reflect the experiences of women navigating the corporate world. In fiction, I’m drawn to historical fiction, stories celebrating Asian heritage, juvenile fiction, gothic horror, mysteries, and romance genres.

When I’m not behind the microphone, I love escaping the booth to feed my inner adventure heroine. Whether I’m rowing and sculling with the Capital Crew Masters, competing at regattas, or practicing Pilates Reformer—a lifelong passion—I find that staying active keeps me energized, focused, and ready to tell the next great story. I’m also a dog mom to two Japanese Chin boys, Shiro and Itsu, who bring joy to my daily life and are often quiet companions in the booth.
