Caged Lightning by Brent Rock Russell. It took me forever to do, but I had an absolute blast. Please, please, I beg of you, do not listen to it.

What do you always have in the booth?

Singer’s Saving Grace, Chap Stick, Water. I try to keep it pretty minimal in there, I’m not a trinket person.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I was living in LA as an on camera actor, driving a delivery truck around Santa Monica as my day job, constantly listening to audiobooks. I have a degree in English and Theatre, and something clicked in my mind…hey, I could perform these books too.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

When I moved away from LA to focus full time on audiobooks, I had a huge sense of failure that I had not become a consistent television or film actor. My dad told me that I had not failed, I had simply grown and found a new goal I was interested in. He gave me permission to change my goal, which for some reason I couldn’t give myself. So, change your goal if you want to.
