What do you always have in the booth?

Always water for sure! Often a black tea, sometimes an ice pack, occasionally a fun overhead light color (usually red).

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

15 years ago, I was looking for a way to supplement my theatre work with something equally acting based and as I had been doing a fair bit of animation at the time, there were people I knew from that world who had been recording books as well. I picked brains, coached and made demos, and quickly realized how much I loved telling stories in with just my voice. It's become much more than just a side job, it's a huge part of my career!
