No other voice acting — but if you drive too fast down my street you might have heard me saying "Slow the heck down!".

What do you always have in the booth?

Cold water, hot water, tea…as many beverages as the space allows. Vocal Zone pastilles will fix any throat tickle and are vegan! Nebulizer for those long dehydrating sessions, lip balm always, and my favorite emotional support rock.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I came to performing audiobooks through listening to them. I've always been a bookworm, but didn't really discover how magical audiobooks are until much later. While listening to The Reapers Are the Angels by Alden Bell, performed by Tai Sammons, something clicked and I knew I wanted to tell stories that way. I started eating, sleeping, and breathing all things audiobook industry related. After A LOT of study and coaching and hard work…here we are.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

Books can make the world a better place. I really do believe that books can teach us empathy. They help us know ourselves, and connect us to each other. When we listen to an audiobook, the voice of the narrator and the author's words work together to make a special kind of magic, opening up the text in new ways, and teaching us new things. It's genuinely exciting! But that magic doesn't exist until a listener hits play and engages with the work. THANK YOU for opening yourself to these stories and being a part of audiobook magic.
