What do you always have in the booth?

My "acupressure" fidget rings – I can roll them up and down my fingers and they make no noise! Always tea. Notes from my kids. Twinkly lights, fake moss, and a crochet frog with a cute bum.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I have an undergrad in theater, and as many do, tried other things for a while after performing and became a parent of 3. I felt so lost creatively. As a lifelong lover of audiobooks, I asked some friends in VO how to get started – and the rest is history!

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

Community matters, and the audiobook community is one of the best out there. Show up as yourself, lift each other up in celebration, and be there to lean on when it's needed. This career isn't for the impatient – and there is always room to grow.
