What do you always have in the booth?

I always have a cup of tea or glass of sparkling water, depending on the weather. A Large Stanley of water, my little dog, Luna and my cat Tommy.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I am a singer, voice artist and theater director in Los Angeles, as well as a singing teacher. I already had a vocal booth, I already knew how to use recording equipment so I decided to make a career change and jump into audiobooks. I've done 25 books now and finally feel like I'm in my flow, but always trying to get better, speaking to that one person, you, from my booth. Hopefully I'm taking you on my journey with me. I love to travel and have been on many adventures in many countries. I love learning about other cultures and trying to master new accents. I get to perform the entire production and all the characters. Audiobook narration is my dream job. The only thing I regret is that I didn't start doing it much sooner!

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

Spending so much time alone in my booth has made me appreciate community and family even more. I recently became a grandmother for the first time, blessed with the most beautiful baby grandson. Being around a brand new baby again is a reminder that we were all precious babies once. Let's love ourselves and each other well – beautiful, imperfect humans that we are.
