Narrator: 200+ audiobooks Compiled by AR Team · 2 min read · August 8, 2026

What was the first audiobook you performed?

I don't remember the name and it's not on Audible anymore! It was a series set in colonial USA, rich with Celtic magic and romance, of course.

What title or series are you best known for?

Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy

If a listener wanted to get to know your work, which of your audiobooks would you point them to?

It Sounded Better in My Head by Nina Kenwood
Horse by Geraldine Brooks
Glassworks by Olivia Wolfgang-Smith
Mrs S by K Patrick
The Nowhere Child by Christian White

Where else have we heard your voice?

Go Home Annie, Rae (video game)
Crafting Audiobooks Podcast
The Narrator Roundtable Podcast Ep 103
Nomad Narrator Podcast

What do you always have in the booth?

Fairy lights, medical gauze (so I can grab and stretch my tongue!), metal straw (for SOVT exercises), La Neige lip mask

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I was a theatre actor looking for a side hustle, and I found a full time job that was so much more fulfilling and flexible than I had imagined it could be.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

I believe there is no neutral accent, as there is no neutral voice; a person's voice is deeply intimate: it's a (sometimes involuntary) autobiography. Where someone's from, where they've traveled, their age, health, education, who they love: all of it lives in how they sound, often before a word of exposition has been said. My job is to find that whole person and let them speak and I both respect and relish the challenge!
