How did you come to performing audiobooks?

That Gideon Media podcast Almelem was originally a play. A Penguin Random House audio producer saw me in the play, asked me to audition for a book he thought my voice would be perfect for, and next thing I know I’m in the booth doing alien voices for Geoff Rodkey’s We’re Not From Here. That audiobook won an Earphones Award and an Odyssey Honor, so I truly started off with a big bang!

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?
