What do you always have in the booth?

Twinkle Lights – I tend to voice a lot of Romantasy, Dark Fantasy, Horror, and Mystery. So, I love keeping my booth light and bright.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I was singing with the North Carolina Opera up until I was 8 1/2 months pregnant. After the show closed, woman started chatting with me in a grocery store and asked what I planned to do after the baby was born. I shrugged and started crying. She simply responded, "Honestly, you have a really pretty speaking voice. Maybe look into that." So, I Googled "How to become an audiobook narrator". Since then, I've received multiple award nominations and a series I've narrated in being adapted for television/streaming.
