Danny Montooth

Narrator: 100+ audiobooks Compiled by AR Team · 2 min read · August 17, 2026

What was the first audiobook you performed?

Tainted Steel: Tales of the Weird and Woeful

What title or series are you best known for?

Crescent City (GraphicAudio) by Sarah J Maas

If a listener wanted to get to know your work, which of your audiobooks would you point them to?

Crescent City by Sarah J Maas (GraphicAudio)
Warbreaker: 10th Anniversary Edition by Brandon Sanderson (GraphicAudio)
Dawnshard by Brandon Sanderson (GraphicAudio)
The Teacher by Freida McFadden
You'll Never Know by Caleb Stephens

Where else have we heard your voice?

ABC Mouse, Bot Beats
GEICO Eager Beaver Commercial

What do you always have in the booth?

I always have my water bottle, a cup of coffee, my emotional support capybara, my vocal mist, my puppy Poppy (if she's being quiet), and my "audience shelf" outside my booth window: Uncle Iroh, Vaultboy, Frodo, and other nerdy nicknacks.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

My dad read The Hobbit to me as a kid and it made a huge impact on me. Connecting through stories is how my family connects. I've been a performer all of my professional life, I've loved voice over just as long, and audiobooks became a great way to do all the things I love on my own terms.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

I am a GIANT NERD. Please come talk to me about board games and TTRPGs, or your new favorite fantasy, sci-fi, or mystery box book/show.
