What do you always have in the booth?

Water, coffee, Artie (a teeny stuffed chicken from Scotland), anime figurines (Cowboy Bebop), my son’s magenta pipe-cleaner version of me

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I’m a pro opera singer who shifted focus in about 2017 to working on the mic – both as a voice actor and as a classical music radio host. After meeting some of the wonderful humans who make up our community IRL in 2023, I knew it was time for the next chapter, and I dove in full-time in 2024. I could not be more grateful.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

I believe that all humans have a deep, fundamental need to communicate and connect with one another; we need each other, and it’s part of our being. And I believe that one of the most natural, ancient, and beautiful ways to do this is by telling stories.

Audiobooks let us experience stories across not only distance and language, but even across time! And I feel a sense of such purpose and gratitude every single time I get behind the mic.
