What do you always have in the booth?

In my booth, which I call the #superherovobooth you will find water, tea, various superhero Pops, and pictures. Stuffed Superman and Deadpool are on top of the computer screen.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

After a 35-year career in radio that culminated in broadcasting for the New Orleans Saints radio network, I decided to pursue what I ultimately wanted to do in voiceover: narrate audiobooks. I started part-time on ACX while still working for the Saints, and after attending my first APAC in 2019, I went full-time as a professional narrator in 2020, and I haven't looked back.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

I recently had the privilege of attending LitRPG Con in Denver as a narrator panelist this past July. It was incredible to see the listeners, and I was shocked by how many fans recognized my work in the genre and were very appreciative of what we do. It puts it all into perspective that what we do alone in these little booths is actually for the enjoyment of others. My 2 quotes that are hanging in my booth say it all: Eat, Sleep, Hustle…Repeat and Work Hard…Stay Humble.
