What do you always have in the booth?

My Pomodoro Timer and a little erase board to count down my chapters and feed my instant gratification fix and a cross stitch by my best friend of a molotov cocktail with the words “Be the light you wish to see in the world.”

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I studied Theatre, voice and improv from my teens into my 30s. I was doing a play when my castmate told me they quit their job to do audiobooks full time (Shout out to Pavi Proczko!). As an avid reader anyway I was sold and the rest is history. ;)

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

One of my best life decisions was to marry a bartender. In our house there is never a poorly mixed drink. I romanticize small moments and have high standards for myself and others (thanks Jan Capricorn.) But I’ll be the first to lift up my peers and am a fierce advocate for those who are mistreated. I was hooked on phonics so it’s Ironic now that I say words out loud for a living ;).
