What do you always have in the booth?

Plants. I grow plants in my booth! Gardenias, Arabian Jasmine, and several Golden Pothos, and peppermint because I couldn’t stand the I’ve-been-in-a-booth-all-day smell.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

My spouse and I got out of the military with almost 50 years between the two of us. With a new toddler, we decided we would pursue the careers that were financially out of reach for us growing up. He went to Law School, and I wanted to read books. I did not realize that I’d be so literal about my dream, but I have no regrets!

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

I have structured my career, and production company on these values: Complete pay equity for male and female narrators, greater opportunities for POC narrators, DEI, no generative AI, and authentic casting. Protecting humans protects the art.
