What do you always have in the booth?

In the summer, my “neck cooling tube” is the only thing standing between me and sweating to death on long booth days. And year round, you’ll catch me working with my Gudetama slippers on — I can’t record if my feet are even a little bit cold!

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

A freak social media occurrence! I was home sick when I saw a friend of mine (shout out Lindsey Dorcus!) had reposted an Instagram story looking for a young-sounding Chinese narrator. The “undisclosed project” turned out to be a novelization for the Pixar movie Turning Red — I went on to narrate over a dozen titles for the film, and it kickstarted one of my favorite parts of my career today!
