I have my water, a miniature Rocky, a Darkseid Funko, and numerous pairs of cheap reading glasses

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

After many seasons at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and numerous TV and film appearances, and after having listened to many audiobooks, I was interested in trying narration. I was given a book to narrate. Then a few more. I got nominated for 2 Audies that first year.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

It’s an exciting time for the work we do. I’m grateful for so many colleagues and friends. We are bringing stories and books to so many people and listeners are so involved and engaged with audiobooks. As our community grows in strength and numbers, I’m glad to be a part of it. Plus, it beats a real job any day.
