How did you come to performing audiobooks?

Many years ago Janet Stark, a producer at Random House, reached out to me about auditioning for a multiple narrator novel. I drove out to their offices which were then in Woodland Hills, read for her, and got the job. I’m so glad I got to start with Random House where at the time every audiobook had a director. Everyone I worked with was so nurturing and helpful and I believe that really set me on the right path for my narrating work.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

I love acting for many reasons but primarily because I love storytelling. And audiobook narration is the most straightforward expression of that. You’re LITERALLY telling a story and I absolutely love that.
