What do you always have in the booth?

Water, tissues, a whole range of teas – green, peppermint, lemon & ginger with honey and a fennel ‘digest’ tea I’ve found which really does seem to help with the dreaded post-lunch digestion tummy noises!

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

Via AudiobookRush’s very own Kat Jackson! I was based in NYC for 8 years and during that time, Kat brought me in for an audition at Audible’s studios in Newark. I met with Mike Charzuk, who gave me a piece from ‘The Gruffalo’ to read – that little monster will forever have a special place in my heart.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

I am now back in my native London and work as a reader with a wonderful charity here called InterAct Stroke Support. InterAct sends actors into hospital stroke units to read stories and poems to patients. It’s one of the best things I have ever done as an actor.
