How did you come to performing audiobooks?

I’ve been a reader my whole life. I can remember being 10 years old, reading a Nancy Drew book well into the early morning hours by the light in my closet. I spent my high school career with a performing arts company acting and singing on stage. But it wasn’t until my dad was diagnosed with an advanced form of cancer and I couldn’t cope, that I turned to audiobooks to escape my grief. With that, came a fleeting thought that maybe I, too, could narrate books. One summer hyper-fixation and a handful of auditions later, I had landed my first gig. I feel very fortunate to be able to say that the catalyst for my career choice is now cancer free and continues to cheer me on from the sidelines.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

Never lose your sense of whimsy as the greatest gift you can give someone, is the art of storytelling.
