How did you come to performing audiobooks?

After years of traveling around the world as a performer, I discovered that I could live where I wanted and work as an actor if I learned how to narrate audiobooks, so I started volunteering to read to children in schools, then volunteered with Learning Ally to narrate books for blind and dyslexic kids, and eventually started working with indie authors and publishers.

Quote from “Equal Rites” by Terry Pratchett: “It is well known that a vital ingredient of success is not knowing that what you’re attempting can’t be done”.
