AudiobookRush ALL ABOUT THE VOICES IN YOUR HEAD

FTC Disclosure

Last updated: May 2026

The Federal Trade Commission requires us to be clear about how we make money and where you might encounter advertising on our site. This page lays it out.

Affiliate links

AudiobookRush participates in affiliate programs. Most of our buy links — to Libro.fm, Audible, Chirp, and other audiobook retailers — are affiliate links.

What this means: when you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. The commission comes out of the retailer’s revenue, not your wallet — you pay the same price either way.

Why we do it: affiliate commissions fund our editorial work. Without them, we couldn’t pay for hosting, tools, contributors, or our time. We’d rather be transparent than rely on intrusive advertising.

Our commitment: we never recommend a book, a narrator, or a service because of the commission. If we link to it in an editorial context, it’s because we think it’s worth your attention. Period.

How to spot affiliate links

Affiliate links typically appear as buy buttons (Libro.fm, Audible, Chirp) in our What’s Next listings and within articles. They may redirect through a tracking domain before reaching the retailer. The product price and your purchase experience are identical to navigating to the retailer directly.

Sponsored content

Some content on AudiobookRush is sponsored. We label it clearly.

Sponsored What’s Next listings. Publishers can sponsor an upcoming-release listing in our What’s Next section. These appear with a “Sponsored” label on the listing card. Sponsored listings do not receive editorial coverage in other sections (The Rush, Reviews, Narrator News, Industry News, or Editor’s Picks) as a condition of payment.

Display advertising. Some pages contain display ads — banner, leaderboard, or in-content units. These are labeled “Advertisement.”

What is NOT sponsored: any article in Editor’s Picks, The Rush, Reviews, Narrator News, or Industry News. We don’t accept payment for editorial coverage in these sections.

Press copies and review copies

We sometimes receive free audiobook copies, advance listening links, or press materials from publishers, narrators, or agents. We do not consider these payment, and we don’t owe anyone coverage in exchange. If a review is influenced by access (an advance copy, an interview opportunity), we disclose it in the article.

Editorial independence

Our editorial coverage is independent of our revenue. We say this in plain English because we mean it. If we recommend something, we recommend it because we like it. If we don’t recommend it, our affiliate programs don’t change that.

For more on how we operate editorially, see our Editorial Standards.
