What do you always have in the booth?

At least two beverages, lozenges, chap stick, a fake plant, a figurine, and a velvet skull named Lenore.

How did you come to performing audiobooks?

In 2020, like much of the country, I lost my job and all my acting gigs. Determined to make the best of the situation, I dove into zoom theater. A fellow actor in the production tipped us off to a thriving VO community on Facebook, and I got my first audiobook gig soon after.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

Whenever I’m in the booth I think about where I am and who I’m telling this story to. Sometimes I’m telling campfire stories, sometimes I’m the voice in your head, sometimes I’m talking to a journalist, sometimes I’m talking to my future grandkids. Always, I’m talking to you.
