How did you come to performing audiobooks?

After years as a stage performer, Bianca discovered that audiobook narration brings together her love of acting, storytelling, and the many cultures that shaped her childhood. Having grown up in Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, she feels at home bringing stories from around the world to life from her tiny sound booth. She spent 17 years in New York City, earning a Bachelor of Music in Opera from Manhattan School of Music and an MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College. Today, with more than 50 audiobooks to recorded, audiobook narration has become her primary artistic focus.

Anything else you’d like a listener to know?

Fun fact: Bianca is one of just seven women serving as a PA announcer in professional baseball, bringing her voice to the Richmond Flying Squirrels, the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. So when it comes to audiobooks, sports stories are right in her wheelhouse, especially sports romance! When she’s not behind the mic or at the ballpark, she’s cheering on stories that remind us why we fall in love with characters, she cheering on her kiddos on the football field and dance studio!
